Include and exclude multiple segments in a message so you can send more targeted, personalized messages to reach the right subscribers.

  1. Navigate to Campaigns and click the + Create campaign button.

  2. Select One-time message and click Continue.

  3. Enter a name in the Campaign name field. Use a specific, memorable name for your campaign to make it easier to reference later. Note that subscribers can’t see the name of the campaign.
  4. Select the drop-down list from the Who will you send this Campaign to field and select a segmentation list. By default, all subscribers are selected. 
  5. To Include a segment, select which segment you would like to include from the list.
  6. If you would like to include more than one segment, select Include another segment and repeat.
    Note: You can include up to 3 segments total.
  7. Click Save & continue when you’re done.

Exclude a segment

Starting on the Set up your campaign screen:

  1. Select Exclude a segment under the field labeled Who will you send this campaign to. An Excluded Segments section appears.
  2. Select which segment you would like to exclude from the Choose segment lists.
  3. (Optional) If you would like to exclude more than one segment, select Exclude another segment and repeat.
    Note:
    You can exclude up to three segments.
  4. Click Save & continue when you’re done.
