Back in stock journeys let you text subscribers when specific items are back in stock and available for purchase. You can set which subscribers are sent back in stock messages based on when and how often they viewed products that are now back in stock. You can also exclude subscribers who have already purchased that back in stock item.

Use back in stock journeys to boost revenue by messaging subscribers when any item comes back in stock, let interested subscribers know when specific items are available, and more! For inspiration, check out back in stock use cases.

An important note is that back in stock journeys won't alert subscribers when specific item variants are back in stock, only the default product itself. When your subscribers first view an item on your store, the first variant they see is the "default" of that item variant, which we can't guarantee is the item they are interested in.

Examples of product variants include different shirt sizes, color values, and more depending on how your store is configured.

Back in stock journeys will not send messages to subscribers when a specific variant is back in stock, but they will send messages to subscribers when the product they viewed comes back in stock.
