How to use a segmentation template

To use the new segmentation templates:

  1. Click Segments in the left navigation bar.
  2. On the Segments screen, click + Create segment.
  3. Click Create next to Segment templates.

4. Click one of the templates to see the pre-filled options to create a segment.

There are three templates: 

  • New Subscribers 
  • Engaged Subscribers
  • Unengaged Subscribers

Two additional templates may be available, if you provide past purchase events to Attentive:

  • Prospects
  • Repeat Buyers

Note: Contact whiteglove@attentivemobile.com for information about turning on the setting for purchase history. 

Template types

The activity options have been pre-filled, but you can make changes to any of the options.  

New Subscribers

Use this template to create a segment of subscribers who’ve signed up in the last 180 days:

Engaged Subscribers

Use this template to create a segment of subscribers who’ve clicked a shortlink at least once in the past 90 days:

Unengaged Subscribers 

Use this template to create a segment of subscribers who haven’t clicked a shortlink at least once in the last 30 days:

Prospects

Use this template to create a segment of subscribers who haven’t made at least one purchase:

Repeat Buyers

Use this template to create a segment of subscribers who’ve made more than one purchase:
